Berbatov Reassures Fans

As.Monaco’s start of the league has seen the French team losing against Lorient, Bordeaux and Olympique Lyonnais. All of these surprising losses and setbacks position Monaco in the bottom of the French League as they have only managed to collect 4 points out of the 5 opening match of the season.

The pressure is on the recently appointed head coach of As.Monaco, Leonardo Jardim for him to start picking up positive results if the Venezuelan manager wants to continue being in charge of As.Monaco for an extended period of time then victories must be seen soon.

Leonardo Jardim was delegated with the role of coaching As.Monaco a few months ago in June as he replaced Claudio Ranieri but this isn’t the way that supporters of the French club wanted to see their team performing. As.Monaco ended the previous season of the league by capturing the 2nd spot as they were true title contenders on winning the campaign and were only surpassed by PSG but this time around they are surfing in the bottom section of the Ligue 1.

Dimitar Berbatov stepped up and told the public that even with all of latest disappointing results and losses of As.Monaco it’s nothing to be worried about.

Former Manchester United player told the media: “We have practically the same team as last season. It’s a bad start but other sides have also struggled early on this season. The only real changes have been in terms of the coaching staff. There’s nothing to worry about. Every new coach needs time to communicate their methods and vision to the players. Some might think it won’t work but I’m sure that we’ll reap the rewards soon enough.”
The Bulgarian forward is confident that As.Monaco and his teammates will start collecting points and climbing spots in the Ligue 1.
