Benficaare opened to selling as long as Man United can pay the full value on his buyout clause. Dias has a release clause of £52 million in his existing contract.

Manchester United would need to pay a premium fee of £122 million for both players to move to Old Trafford in the summer.

Manchester United are also close to signing Fulham forward Ryan Sessegnon according to news sources in England. The pacey forward has attracted interest from several teams including Juventus and Tottenham who are interested in his signature.

The 19-year-old was impressive for the Cottagers last season winning the Championship Player of the Year as he helped Fulham to gain promotion to the Premier League.

However, Sessegnon endured an underwhelming debut season in the top flight netting just two goals in all competitions.

Despite this, he is still, considered as one of the brightest young forwards in the game. Manchester United believe that he can thrive at the club and have opened talks with Fulham regarding the transfer.

If he makes the move he would join a short list of Fulham players to have played for United which includes Bulgaria legend DimitarBebartov.
