DimitarBerbatov’s brace not enough to beat England in charity match
Former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs striker DimitarBerbatov scored two goals for the Rest of the World but was unable to prevent them from being beaten 3-2.
The charity match Soccer Aid was held at Old Trafford and opposed an England to a Rest of the World team.
Both teams consisted of a blend of retired football players and international stars. The England side consisted of star players such as Jermain Defoe, Jamie Carragher, Sol Campbell, Phil Neville and Robbie Fowler. Among the <a href="http://www.yurizhirkov.net">international stars England had Olly Murs and Robbie Williams in the team</a>.
The Rest of the World team, on the other hand, had players such as Ronaldinho, Cafu, and Edgar Davids and managed by Claudio Ranieri.
