KANE CONSIDERING SPURS EXIT

Tottenham Hotspur have struggled with injuries to first team players this season. Their strikers have suffered the most with injuries. Harry Kane is out of the season after undergoing surgery to correct a thigh muscle injury, and he is a major doubt to make the European championship in the summer.

The club had deployed Son Heung-Min up top and the South Korea international did not disappoint. Unfortunately, Son got injured and he is not expected to make his return till May. This leaves 18-year-old Troy Parrot as the only recognized striker in the club.

The injury to Son has been described by coach Jose Mourinho as unfortunate. He stated that Spurs were without a ladder to climb the table, and as soon as they got the ladder, they started climbing the table, but the recent injury to Son, the ladder has been taken away and the team has to find a way to climb the table without the ladder.

If you think Spurs strikers’ worries can’t get any worse, then you’re in for a shocker, as star striker Harry Kane is considering a shock exit from the club.

There is a sense of inevitability about a report coming out of The Telegraph which suggests Kane will consider his Spurs future this summer. Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy is facing a tough time to convince his prize asset not to give up on his boyhood team.

The team has regressed over the last 12 months, and the last season champions league final defeat to Liverpool left a feeling of failed aspirations that has refused to go away.

Harry Kane has attracted interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United and the England international will consider his options at the end of the season.

Manchester United will return for Kane in the summer. The Red Devils signed Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Carrick from Spurs in the past, and they will hope they can convince Kane to make the move to Old Trafford.
